Beetroot Cake

For my birthday last year, someone made me this beetroot cake; a year later and I am still thinking about it. If you are looking for a cake for your wedding day, something a bit different, check out the Ripe Delicatessen website. I decided to tackle the recipe myself. My inspiration for the styling of this shoot comes from still-life paintings by the Dutch masters.
